Ugh, after a 2 week fever and 6 days of insomnia earlier this month, I'm so spent.  I'm sure I'll be drawing again but I really lack what it takes at the moment.
Just read Dororo by Tezuka, 800 pages in 1 day.  Fantastic, except for the final chapter, which was a rushed wrap-up of all the epic storytelling in 30 pages, oof!
Also reading Alec: The Years have Pants, which is one of the best comics of all time, there is nothing like it.
Also TRYING to read Finder, by Carla Speed McNiel, but i'm not "hooked" yet.
I haven't been reading too many comics over the last 7 years or so, anyone have any recommendations from the history of comicbookosity?  Keep in mind I'd prefer original work, and not, let's say, Peter David's run on the Incredible Hulk.  I prefer original books done by the original writers and artists, but show me whatcha got, boys n berries!:salute:

I take my history in small doses at Pappy's Golden Age Blogzine, dude! This week it's featuring PHANTASMO - MASTER OF THE WORLD! origin and episodes by E.C. Stoner. [link] You can research using the search engine, check the blogs by date of entry, or peek in weekly to see what's new.

Feel better. Me - anxiety and depression building as zero hour approaches. And to add insult to injury, the IRS thinks I made a killing in 2008 instead of the reverse, so I'm filling out a schedule D to show them the losses from my '08 1099. "What a world! What a world!" Hehe.
