Description

My Silver Surfer parody, "Human Hotdog." Wish I knew what I was doing in the post-scanning, I am clueless as how to get rid of that grey area in the middle of the page where the two scanned sides of the drawing meet...

Love the Kirby influence. If you use Photoshop. I scan the two pages first. I bring the first page and make the Canvas size (not image size) bigger. Basically you are making the "paper" bigger. Now your first scan should be at the top and the bottom half would be white. Then open the second scan in Photoshop as a second layer. I then drag a guide just to where the first scan gets darker. I'll be cutting the bottom of that later but first I use the second layer scan to line up the top part of the scan to the bottom of the first scan. If I can, I try to put the guide in some less detailed area. Once both images are lined up, I cut out the grey areas on the top scan and do the same on the bottom scan. I then merge the layers. Hope it helps just a bit.
